Hair’s to you, Gordon

Take a vicious and very public family feud, mix in a large helping of financial woes, and you have the perfect recipe for Gordon Ramsay tearing his hair out.
Now footballer Wayne Rooney is the latest, and youngest, celebrity to admit to undergoing a hair transplant. Fed up with teasing over his baldness, Rooney revealed on Twitter at the weekend that he has taken action.
So it should perhaps come as little surprise that the fiery TV chef has resorted to thickening his thatch artificially with a $45,000 hair transplant.
The 44-year-old spent 12 hours at a Los Angeles clinic having follicles removed from lush patch of his scalp before they were reinserted where his hairline is thinning.

In Ramsay's case, the follicles are being taken from the back and put towards the front and centre of his hairline.
A source said: "some will call it vanity but to TV producers and Gordon it's a pre-emptive action to stop him suddenly going on TV with obvious thinning."
The hair transplant comes after an especially stressful time for the Kitchen Nightmares star, who sacked his father-in-law Chris Hutcheson as head of his business empire in October.
Mr Hutcheson publicly accused Ramsay, whose business reportedly has debts of $26 million, if being warped by the celebrity lifestyle.
